+1. Exactly, and they do this as SEACOM is about to go operational. Idiotic, and they'll only look more ridiculous when the competition brings down the prices and they have to follow, just months after making this change...So nothing has really changed, except 4 the fact that on paper it now reads 5GB instead of 3GB even though you could always get 5GB :s
Leaving aside the issue of how big the cap is, isn't it preferable to have capping at a definitive threshold rather than a variable one out of anyone's control?So we were all right - hardcapping now means 3GB accounts now effectively get 500MB extra, on average, after "so-called" soft-capping is abolished.

We have 4 Telkom internet accounts. They haven't been variable for close to a year now if not longer. They always cap at 4.5GB, even the percentage indicator shows 100% as 4.5GB.
