SKorean websites 'attacked by North Korea'

So maybe this explains some of the more recent bad international connectivity many people have been complaining about in other threads? I was struggling to download satellite images from Nasa websites yesterday. The article content mentions the US, though this is not in the title...

Or does that let T*lkom off the hook too easily??

It's easy to get paranoid and spread FUD (fear uncertainty and doubt) but it's very hard to prove where a denial of service attack comes from. Near impossible. Sure you can read IP numbers but you'll hardly ever know who triggered it.
 
A few years back one of the Baltic states came under a cyber attack. Blamed Russia IIRC
