shaun since we have you here, I have always wondered what causes bouncing?, like sometimes I'll download something at a constant speed and other times it will just go up and down but within the same spectrum say 70 - 110KB/s. Is it that I'm playing bandwith tug-o-war with some hog on my base station or what?

Yeah using that POV I think Slimz definition of "some hog" is all the rest of the iBursters in Kempton Park combined :p.

what you experience there could have several factors attributed to it, but one major one is CONTENTION. You experience contention, aka tug-o-war :D

Dear Shaun, I am glad you are back and in good health.

The following is not a criticism and is not being negative. Many of us would like to know what is happening with external antennas. There were apparently some given out to users for testing. Did they help? Are they now recommended? Are they available? Is testing continuing or completed?

The kid is back.
 
Shaun, you had us worried there for a while. No more hanging off towers in the middle of the night for you... :D
 
Would really like to know what is happening with the antennae's. Everytime i call in, i get told that i should wait another week! This started at the beginning of Jan!
 
and then he promptly dissapeared again after a return and a flu excuse ?
Or will he hang around ?
