Hi all

I wanna connect two pcs into my Samsung 19" LCD 933GW Screen which has dual dvi and vga connections. Can I connected to pcs to it and just hit the cga/dvi selector switch on the monitor?

Should work - if the source setting is on auto then it would normally switch to the DVI source if both pc's are on when you switch the monitor on. One of my 226bw monitors is currently connected to two pc as a secondary monitor for each.

Yes this does work... although it doesn't want to work with my 2333- it keeps on reverting to DVI.

The other option is to go headless on the second PC then setup VNC or some remote admin over the network from your main PC. Works a treat.

screen will work but you'll still sit with 2 KB and mouses...
best bet is to get a kvm switch...

Or use a software package like "Synergy" or "Maxivista" to share one keyboard & mouse

So if i create a VNC will it work with my main pc running Vista Ultimate X64 and my second pc running XP Pro

Yes, you are merely creating a "window" into the other PC to view/control it. Any OS for that matter.

With VNC you would not need two inputs... You would need both PCs to be on at all times though.
