A colleague in the office is battling to send or reply to emails without he "pilcrow" sign coming up . How the heck do you get rid of this ?

Which software version? I assume Outlook?

A colleague in the office is battling to send or reply to emails without he "pilcrow" sign coming up . How the heck do you get rid of this ?He does understand that it is only a formatting symbol that will be invisible to recipients unless they happen to have invisibles enabled?
If its outlook then I think he needs to turn it off in Word.
