Hi guys
friend has fujitsu laptop about 3 years old. dvd drive not reading anything.
cleaned lens, flashed newer firmware, nothing!!
drive is detected in xp and dvdinfo pro gives full spec of drive ( philips SDVD 8820.)
1. is the drive dead and should it be replaced?
2. can any laptop drive be slotted in?
(reason is MAKRO is quoting about 2,5k to replace drive
)
