ok so check my bank account this morning.
I see some company called Nudebt has talken money off my account.

Never heard of these guys so get a hold of the bank and they help me out with the number etc.

Call the company and find out that these guys collect money owed to virgin mobile by directly debiting your account form th Debit order forms signed with Virgin mobile.

now how legal is that ?
i dont see how they can do that..

IF you signed a debit order with Virgin Mobile and IF you have money outstanding to them that is due and payable then it would be legal.

Its probably just the company that processes the debit orders fro Virgin Mobile.

If you were owing Virgin Mobile money then its legal.

Holy guacamole. If this is legal it also means that other "fee's" can be deducted like this. e.g. Legal fee's, admin fee's, processing fees, handover fee's.

I am so glad that I am 80% debit order free.
I have one debit order for vehicle insurance.
Must try to get rid of that one as well.

yea i did owe em cahs. i am not sayign i did not.
but the debt collection company needs to notify about this.

and Virgin mobil needs to let people know upfrnt that this is what will be done if you do not pay.

Agreed.

Had the same thing happen to me with Vodacom. I have a contract signed with Vodacom, not some 3rd party company.

I just went to the bank and had it reversed. Until they actually contact me to say who they are and why they are taking money off my account (since I can't contact them) I will continue to go to the bank every month and have it reversed.

Most companies use third part Service Providers to process debit orders.

If it ever had to happen with me I open a fraud case against them regardless they cannot just debit your account if you have given a stop debit like I have and I have sent Virgin Mobile notice its illegal
