Vote: Are you happy with your Nokia N97 from VODACOM?

Hi,

Please vote here if you are happy with your Nokia N97 from Vodacom?

A simple YES or NO would do:

- YES, for: great phone, no problems at all.
- NO, for: my phone doesnt work because Vodacom will not release firmware version 11 for the N97 to resolve the known issues. I'm not happy. (Knowing that MTN has already released the Firmware)

Hi guys. I am not sure but can you not upgrade the firmware from Nokia's website? I did it with one of my older Nokia's a long time ago, but now using Blackberry so not sure if that is still the case???

No - the product code is different for the vodafone software and changing the product code will void the warranty

You can, for every operator in the world EXCEPT VODACOM!

You actually use a tool from Nokia called "Nokia Software Updater".

If you have a handset supplied by MTN, it will upgrade to v11 no problem.
If you have a handset from Vodacom, sorry, you "already have the latest version 10".... spot the difference...
 
Any idea when Vodacom will release the latest firmware?
