No need to worry about data charges
Leave your IM (Google Talk) open permanently and it does not drain your battery
Real push email for my work email and gmail only having BIS (R59 p/m)
 
I will admit I have never used a Blackberry, but from a quick glance over the article, my Windows Mobile device does most of that stuff. Push Email and chat being the two that I use constantly. It would be nice to have the BIS, but I have been reading on a few overseas forums that it is possible to have it running on WM now.

Ja, but you're forced to use Windows Mobile (massive minus) :P
 
I;ve got a BlackBerry Bold. Never been happier with a device :D
 
What about the fact that Blackberry cannot release a firmware version that doesn't have some major flaw in.

Also blackberry have been around a lot longer then the Iphone has.
 
I've had a Storm, 2x Curves and 3x iPhones (2G & 3G) and my old Palm Treo still beats all of them for user friendliness and simplicity!!!
 
chris, storm is really not a fair device to judge blackberry on :P
in fact, i would say its possibly the worst bb handset on the market at the moment
 
Upgraded my Storm last weekend to the .164 OS and its been running like a dream, and with VC fixing the BIS problems I wouldn't trade my BB for an iPhone, even if it made my espresso... and washed my car...

Yeah, the clickety touch screen was the worst! Although I am getting a Bold soon to test for a week... Me opinion could be changed... Should be better than the 2x Curves I had!

Still using my Palm Centro as well - and the Pre is coming...

What problems did you have with the Curve? Mine is not giving any problems at all.

I haven't used the BOLD yet. Not really a big difference. Only 3G and bigger screen. The Curve uses EDGE but it's so fast that I can't complain.

I think he was using a Curve 8310 and not the new 8900 - big differance in performance, screen etc
