Heres the thing my MTN contract is over its 2 years i even got rid of the sim card told them to cancel it got proof of that.
And i asked for my contract to be canceled too but they keep on taking money from my account with debit order.

I phoned and got told it will be stopped more than once.
Is there any other way to stop this other then changing banks?
Sick of paying for something i don't use.

Hi

Yes there is, it's called a stop order. Make sure you notify the correct department at MTN beforehand though. Get a name and a reference number and ask for a confirmation email. Then if you're sure your account is fully paid, go ahead and put the stop order in place.

More info in Absa's site here: http://www.absa.co.za/absacoza/cont...e-My-Payments/Electronic-Payments/Debit-Order

A debit order is initiated by MTN and your bank has no power over it.
A stop order is initiated by you via your bank and you can stop it when you want.

Im failing to understand what your point is. A debit order is initiated by MTN.. yes.

A stop order prevents MTN's debit order from completing successfully.
