Hi, what are the server IP / DNS addresses. I'd like to test the pings on my line.

I actually watched the IP's / Ports (hence why I know it's 3724) via Norton Firewall...but since I can't connect right now...I can't tell you. :p
If I remember to do so once I've got my ADSL sorted, I'll let you know.

They block ICMP (command line ping), so don't even bother trying.

So the only way you can check the latency to their server is to pay the R400 odd bucks and hope it works! :p scary

Finally got my line working... Latency of 1500-2000. This... is ... crap.
I'll try it tonight, but I kid you know, I want my ISDN back.
Bollocks.

So... 2am now... and pings are finally < 1000. There were a few times in Orgrimmar that my ping went up to 8000.
Will try it over the weekend...but I can see that on Monday I'll be requesting that my ISDN2a be activated again, and they come get the ADSL... stuff...

Same here tried to play last night, ping times consistently over 1000 sometimes into the 1500 mark. Didn't get see 8000 I just get booted out at that point  .
Give it time G this happens evey end of month everybody trying to cap out before month end. Pings should be down on the weekend, I usually average between 500 - 650.
Check out this thread http://www.mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=18536&page=2 there might be some light at the end of the tunnel ;)

Yep, pings were unusually terrible last night.
Always like that the last day of the month. I personally dload more on that day than the rest of the month combined.
