Everything on my home PC has 'remember this password' and until recently, I didn't have a power on password. I can imagine without a power on/windows password, an unauthorised person could cause quite a bit of havoc ...

A brazen burglar logged into his victim’s Facebook account hours after committing the crime to brag about it.

The thief logged-in to the social networking site to taunt his victims and signed off with "regards your nighttime burglar".

Victoria Richardson, 42, found the messages on her profile page after her family home in Hove, East Sussex, was broken into on Wednesday night.

The burglar took an iPhone, a Nintendo DS games console, a handbag and purse, cash and debit cards, as well as the black Toshiba laptop.
