Gaming console market share battle

The last console I bought was a ps2(i know a long time ago).

to the people who own the wii or/and ps3:
What the pro's and con's of it?
Are u happy with ur purchase?
 
Ps3 is awesome. U can play ure divx, blu ray, dvds, music, mp3s, view albums - hell u can even play games! Ive only ever played a wii once, but it was very nice too. It depends on what sort of gameplay u want. Wii is much more of a social console , nice to play with other ppl. Ps3 is nice to play on ure own and for graphics. Wii is for ppl who jus want to have fun, ps3 is for serious gamers who enjoy graphics and intense gameplay.

Really depends on what sort of person u r...
 
I won the Ps3 and Wii.
Wii: pros - Great fun and can play with anyone (even yr grandma).
Cons: U do get bored of it and cant play it alone, not for serious gamers. Graphics are way behind the PS3. Motion sensing not as responsive and not 3D recognisable (will see what the motion sensor does).
Games are also not upto scratch (only found EA tiger woods to ge fun), while something like Topspin is more of a game then a motion sensor.
Also have to buy or use rechargable batteries separetly.

PS3: paid more than 6K when it came out.
Pros: Everything, graphics, game play, blue ray, media centre (play divx, music and viewing of photos is brilliant), wifi...
Cons: For me nothing, but it is expensive, but i can afford it. I only play Fifa on it, and now cricket (ashes) so game prices are not a big deal. But i use it a a complete entertainment centre.

BTW: the Wii was a gift.
For me the blue ray is beautiful, which i y i chose PS3 over xbox.
