Xbox 360 Elite price cut by R 1500

Great - I guess I'll never get R1,800.00 for my Pro console now. FFS.
 
Now... don't those who have supported M$ by purchasing earlier feel just a little suckered?

I think they know they can't sell so they have to drop prices. Christmas is coming.

Err....everything drops in price sooner or later. Do you want it to stay the same price forever? :confused:
 
I just bought the Pro bundle for R2999 from Makro, but they also threw in R1000 worth of accessories, so I don't feel suckered, but without that R1k extras I would be spitting bullets right now :D

NO! This time it was only because real quality competition knocked on the door. If the new PS3 did not come out M$ would have suckered many more people this christmass at the old price. They still do as the Elite will now be minus the HDMI cable and thus drops further down the ladder as what it really offers technically and also games title wise, to the gamers for the same price.

Hey, I wasn't suggesting you have to feel like a sucker... it's your choice ;) Early adopters are your core crowd - your bread and butter... why not hit them for thousand bob or so if they are prepared to pay ;)

The Elite price drop rumour has been going on for quite some time now even before the announcement of the PS3 Slim.

So do you for one minute believe that M$ and their Spy's were unaware of it. Their CEO prolly discussed it with Sony's ACEO over at the golf course long ago!

It doesn't matter who decided first, it is a win-win for us (PS3 and Xbox users)
 
i'm personally anxiously waiting for the PS3 slim (to sit next to my lovely 2year old elite).
