I think like IStore tunes etc shows there is huge demand for single music mp3 etc. No DRM please thanks or goodbey!

The days of buying CDs for R100+ is long gone! (And then you listen to 1-4 tracks, rest sucks) It's digital area...
 
The one good thing to emerge from this is that bands now have to play live concerts to bring in the cash.

This should separate the backing tape bimbos from the muso's who actually have talent.

thus far the problem of online sales is.. drm, cost sometimes the same as buying cd(in SA!!), per track model is osmetimes expensive for popular tracks too compare to just getting it free, drm free :p

check other sites (non sa) $1 per song.. no drm.. etc. Only in our dreams!!
 
Gimme a web based distribution medium, low price, mp3/ogg/flac formats with no DRM and I'll gladly buy the music I like. If I like the artist I support them but this has become more about the greedy mofo record companies than the artist or the consumer.

Seriously, murdering someone will result in a lighter overall penalty than downloading a bunch of songs and getting caught. Granted, you don't get shivved in the showers at home, but still.

Just say we share an internet connection. That way they can't prove it was you, adam, jane or your dog who illegally downloaded the content.

I believe in the freedom of data and information. People who sell that (pirates who sell the copied intellectual property of others) data and information, or who try to censor it (RIAA) or who try to control how you may and may not reasonably use it (certain publishers such as EA who don't approve of you being able to sell something you've bought, or buy second-hand) are the scum of the earth.

Whatever happend to the scales of justice, they are suppose to strike a balance between wrong & right. No longer the case, the justice system & goverment has been manipulated by corporate lobyist. It's no longer about the people but about business. Your vote counts jack shate!
