Local Heroes of Newerth server up and running

I played the first test game... a few snags but I noticed that gameplay is much better.

I also hosted a game on sunday, ping was between 30-60, will be cool when you can use local only data.

Thanks iGame !!!

Thanks iGame!

Just a quick question. I am a noob at HON. I have not played Dota much. How do I join Servers in South Africa only? Do I have to join a specific channel? At the moment ping to the other servers are from 260-500. Should it not be 50-100 for SA Servers? I cant find it...

I see why now. The server requires downtime for maintenance. They still working on it. So it isn't up 24/7 at the moment. So its sort of up and running...

Is there a local site where I can download the client from before the cap resets in 45 min ?

If there is a local server I wanna play. Anyone got a key to spare? Thanks in advance.

dude, join the facebook group - AFAIK they released another 75k keys today.

but pm me ur e-mail - i might have a few anyway.

we might be on 1.4 but im not sure - but 1.39 sounds pretty new to me.

have fun Kuga! (post the link man, for people reading this)

Occasionally when I fire up HON, I can log in, and join the chat "channel", but I can't see any games. I click refresh, but it comes back with 0 out of 0 replies. I also don't see anyone chatting. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

I'm with iBurst. I was able to play HON on the weekend, but now, nothing.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The thread title is rather misleading.

more like a complete lie - spoke to a buddy of mine that asked me if i'm playing hon tonight - when mentioning the immenent ZA server he lol'ed - said he spoke to the guy (some admin or something) and he said that we have a slim chance of actually getting one... something about igame, or iburst itself has too slow connections, and the servers would cost too much....

WTF is going on?

provide us with concrete news or mybb/mygaming will be known for just posting rumors/lies if this goes on too long.... ESPECIALLY with thread title naming.
