Just a little something-something on Forza 3 that made me quite happy...

Noice, this going to be an Xbox 360 only release?

Can't wait ! 24 oct right ? So far the car line up looks excellent. I still need to finish the endurance races on forza2....

Gonna be honest, i never finished forza 2, but it was a lot of fun!!

Yeah. I second that.. forza 2 just got way too long. Im just looking forward to driving with the new driver view :)

I wonder if it will finally support the G25?

Don't think so. Microsoft are being asshats, as usual, with regards to licensing the force feedback algorithms. I'm sure Logitech would love doing a 360-compatible wheel, but they are (quite rightly) not willing to pay the necessary exorbitant fees.

Logitech actually already has a 360 compatible wheel, just a crappy one. Best one is still the offical MS one. Haven't tried that Porche wheel yet...

Nah, it's more fun this way 'round. Besides, GT has never been anything more than admittedly very pretty bumper cars. :p

Bumper cars with the best car physics around.

Forza 2 had damage modelling, with questionable car physics. ;)

GT5 will have both = instant win!;)

*PS3 fanboi waffle*

Erm... just, no. Lemme know when GT5 starts running on a 360Hz physics engine, taking every individual component of a given car into account. As an aside, PD can't even get basic lighting right...

;) rightbackatyou

EDIT - only REALLY read your statement the second time 'round. Ahem, and I quote:

You're right! GT5 will have BOTH questionable damage modelling AND questionable physics. Why you consider that an 'instant win' only a PS3 fanboi will know. ;)

Ahem, *clears throat significantly*, quoting an article from a place called "flameboys" honestly doesn't count. But hey, even if the lighting isn't perfect in GT5, it STILL manages to look leaps and bounds better than Forza 3. ;)

As for your second point, the damage modelling i saw for GT5 looked considerably better than Forza's, and it's not even the finished product. ;)Will Forza 3 have doors and bonnets flying off, cars flipping and overturning?

Did the throat-clearing help? READ the article - there's some very valid points there. But to answer your question - yes, Forza3 will have rollovers, which is why PD are frantically trying to get their own damage model up to scratch.

That sucks, something that really wowed me about GT5:Prologue was playing it with a proper racing seat with that G25 steering wheel, first time I ever dumped the clutch in a video game.
