ok everyone knows the **** stream called mtns data billing.

i went from averaging R600 - R800 to being billed R2500 then R700 then R1800 then R2900 then R540 then R1500 and last month R3900.

then i got billed R254 on the 27/07 for a 2GB data bundle that i activated on the 27th and told by the call centre was a once-off, then on the 20/08 i got billed R340 for a 2GB data, because magically they dont do once off, now i have only received one 2GB bundle so far, i have now cancelled that even though i still havent received the second bundle i was charged for.

so we come to this month:
until monday, 4 days ago, 808 was still stuck on the 20th of august, it has now updated to 17 september, but it now says that i have no data bundles even though i've had my 1GB bundle since december, i'm being charged for that bundle yet it doesnt register and i'm being charged out-of-bundle??? wtf!!

i just want to close everything and get this headache out of my life.
anybody know how?

fsck you ****s i hope your bhartia deal tanks you useless piece of ****!

Lol!

Use pre-paid next time! Less hassles!

yeah :(

back then i needed a phone and @ R320 with an OMNIA was good, before they made up the 20% will only be used for data crap.

got through to them after 40min, spoke to a tit named Rajesh who sounded like he was reading a manual:rolleyes:, apparently his manager Gavin Andrews is going to call me back. name and shame time bitches what-up!!

MTN is the WORST company in South Africa to deal with. They make Multichoice look like wimps.

I am out of contract since January and I will never go back there again.

This is what is happening at MTN IT Dept.

1) You stuffed it up in April, now you fixed it worse.
2) Was not me. YOU gave them m0erse extra bundles.
3) Well, we can't fix this now, should we dump the programme?
4) No, maybe someone will see us. Let's just sneak out and sell it to VC.
5) Are you crazy? Those guys know what they are doing.
6) Well, I'm outa here before the ****e hits the fan.

Anyone know the procedure for cancelling a MTN contract? I don't mind paying the remaining months upfront but do not want to be hit with legal fees etc.

They'll still charge you for the device - it actually ends up costing considerably more than the x amount of months remaining.
