Hi guys

Here's a tip I discovered by myself (not sure if it's been posted before)

My toaster normally only toasts (on high) giving a sort of brown but still white texture. If I toast it again to get it nice and crispy its too dry and/or burns.

What I found works perfect is if I put the slices of bread in the microwave for about 1 minute until they're soggy-ish.

I then toast these and they come out brown and crisp each time!

Mine come out perfect without having to microwave it. Got a heat setting which works rather well, obviously you need to adjust the setting for winter and summer for obvious reasons.

hahaha!! how random, TOAST!

my dam toaster does the same thing...

but i find its all about the type of bread you buy, you can get 'toaster bread', specially for toasting obv, works well. not great if not toasted though, so only buy it for that reason.

I keep mine in the toaster until it starts forming a hardened surface then I take it out so that the centre is still soft and warm. Then I smack on the peanut butter!

 Now that is one thing I can't eat together... I love toast and peanut butter but when they are put together I want to puke!

Are you guys high..............toast and peanut butter is the bomb

I freeze my bread, and put it straight in the toaster. Works rather well and bread lasts more than a month.

peanut butter on toast, awesome.
peanut butter and cheese on toast -> HEAVEN

Haven't tried cheese...but I think I'll pass. I have tried thin slices of banana on top of the peanut butter - that's actually pretty sweet!

PB on toast is no. 1

Marmite + cheese on toast comes a close 2nd.

I like jam and cheese on toast.

As a matter of fact, that's what I'm eating right now. Fig jam with cheese.

What I also like is layered Marmite, Tomato slices, Baked egg, Grated cheese.
