Vodcom/MTN/Cell C/Telkom 3g Tower on our roof

I was wondering why my Vodacom HSDPA speeds were not great.

Later I found out that our block of flats has a Vodcom, MTN, Cell C& Telkom 3g tower on the roof. Im staying on the top floor, so im literally just under it. Apparently it is actually the reason why I am struggling because I now miss the strong part of the signal.

So now im scheming about it, think I could run a cable from the tower to my flat for really good speeds? Maybe then ill be able to get the 7.2 HSDPA?:D

Anyone ever heard of having a cable from a 3g tower?
 
LOL, no it wont work the operators will never allow it.

I suggest you get a uni directional antenna and aim it towards the tower closest to you but not above you

You don't live in my block of flats do you? ha ha ha

Out of interest please find out from your body corporate how much you are being paid each month for the use of your roof by each of those companies and let me know. I have been trying to get an idea of what they are/should be paying.
