hi guys is R2899 a good price for the samsung 26 inch monitor?
thanks

I always get screens at worst possible time :/

I remember paying R3.3k for my 19" 4:3 LCD ... them R3.3k for my 22" 16:9 LCD ... now you can get a 26" 16:9 for R3.3k!

Same here, but I like to get things when they are new and exclusive:) It works sometimes though, my T240 died and I got a T260 in its place because by then it cost less than the T240.

The T260 is 16:10.

Just make sure that it has a VESA mountings otherwise you may have problems if you want to wallmount it.
I paid 3k for a 24" Philips monitor, Makro sold a Fujitsu one for 2.5k but no VESA mounts.

Then you may be stuck with having it on the stand, and IMO they are often too high, resulting in a lot of head movement between desk surface and the upper area of the monitor, especially if you are older and use bifocals.
AFAIK, VESA is a worldwide standard to mount monitors using wall brackets.
