Okay, what's going on? First Malenema says something sensible for the first time EVAR, now the ANC is turning its back on its tjommies in Athletics SA.

They'll be abolishing BEE and racial classification next...

The ANC task team set up to investigate the Caster Semenya controversy says Athletics South Africa and its president Leonard Chuene must apologise to president Jacob Zuma and the country.

Semenya's gender had been under scrutiny since she won the 800m World Athletics Championships in Berlin, Germany, in August.

The ruling party recently established the task team, including Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Dr Manto Tshabalala-Msimang, to support Semenya and her family .

Athletics SA boss Chuene recently admitted that he had lied about gender tests conducted on Semenya in Pretoria.

"Despite knowledge of those tests, I continued to deny their existence," Chuene told a media conference at the time.

Chuene also admitted that he had chosen to ignore advice from ASA team doctor Harold Adams to withdraw Semenya from the World Athletics Championships in Berlin based on the results of those tests.

However, Chuene has since denied lying about not having any knowledge of gender tests conducted on Semenya.

The ANC said it would support Semenya in taking legal action against Athletics SA.

ANC spokesman Jackson Mthembu said it would be difficult to trust the leadership of Athletics SA in future.

That's why it's so frigging cold today, it's going to snow.

Wrong, it was under scrutiny long before the WAC in Berlin.

Athletics SA boss Chuene recently admitted that he had lied about gender tests conducted on Semenya in Pretoria.
This confirms that it's gender was under scrutiny well in advance of the WAC in Berlin.

Bunch of plonkers couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

So what? Fire or demand that Chuene resign.
Then I will congratulate them.
Action, not words.

yep that be something, this whole eish i'm sorry can just as well be part of a whole play/scheme...

Ag... its never going to change.... corruption, scheming, wasting money & all crime is in dem bones
The government is just as guilty as organized crime... Zoomafia's & Malemafia's Inc.
They should not be tried... just shot ... its the humanitarian thing to do... cause fools will eventually hang themselves... shame... agonizing (but welcome... hehehe). ;)

Look, you're right in saying this type of thing is part of politics. I would for once in my life, love to see a politician that genuinely does not have any hidden agenda. Most of these people only think of power and money with little or no regard for the needs of the people.:D

Yip, and we call it democracy ... more like democrazy.
The world needs a better system... where cons & convicts, including the stinking rich & wanna-be's of all... don't have a chance... wishful thinking :(
