What's taking so long with the product, then?

From our perspective, it doesn't seem like that long a time. To make Gran Turismo 5, we threw away the legacy code from GT4 and started from scratch. It's been five years from [the release of] GT4, and that's the same amount of time it took to develop the first GT4. To create a game from scratch, that's the amount of time it takes to get it right

Will there be a Gran Turismo 6?

Yes. You won't have to wait as long as you did for GT5. GT5 represents a whole new operating system. GT6 is just new apps that run on the GT5 system

Have you played Forza Motorsport 3?

I was watching the guys at our company trying it out in the office. I tried it a little bit. It's very similar in a lot of aspects to Gran Turismo. Some base components of the game are very different from Gran Turismo. It's a little bit different from what a simulator is. You can feel it when you drive it.

But what happened to the thousands upon thousands of cars speculated over time? Yamauchi says there aren't any set plans for DLC yet?

This and F1:2009 are the only driving games i intend getting...
 
GT5 is one game that has my mouth watering. I am craving for a great driving sim. Don't even mention NFS Shift!

lol ... my PS3 purchase was motivated by the imminent launch of God of War 3.

Its a second hand model so didn't bite me in the ass like buying new would've :D
 
@Maestro : looking at getting the GoW collection, played 1 & 2 on the PS2 ?
 
h'much is an arcade 2nd hand ? lol, just interested...looking buying another console, probably a wii again, but might be interested in a short-term 360 gig...

about GoW3...it's gonna rock !

Sell a used 360 Arcade for around the R2k mark
 
i see your in jhb, xdvdandgames.co.za sell used xbox arcades for R1400 with a 3 month warrany, out of stock i see, so not much help, but maybe if your not buying right now keep a eye or send them a email.
