I doubt copper cable thieves are limited to SA but ya we could export some serious experts in the field :D.
 
Surprise surprise :D Makes me remember that Brisbane ATM explosion where the dynamite has been traced to the South African mines - the wolf can change the habitate but not the habit :D WTF Thiefs like to 'work' during the night - they are better camouflaged :D
 
no surprises here. My in-laws in the USA told me years ago that the problem was rife there too. It's nothing unusual world-wide. copper is in demand everywhere.
 
yeh, so after 48hrs they get their landlines back

11 months after mine were stolen I get a letter from hellkom, sorry but due to cable theft in your area we can no longer offer you a service
