Hello to everyone, and thanks for the excellent service this forum provides.
I have recently give telkom the boot and gone over to Vodacom 3G for my internet needs, I have been supplied with a Novatel Merlin U630 card.

1. From reading this forum, I understand that I should have a 64 bit sim card, and have phoned vodacomm about this, they are sending one in the post.
2. Where can I download comprehensice manuals for this card, that tell me all the meaning of the flashing led etc?
3. Are there any adjustments that are recommended to optimise the WinXP default setting that are applied to this hardware? I am running WinXP Home v2002 with sp2, all updates complete.
4. How do I access Wi-Fi hotspots with this card at the Mugg & Bean etc, so I can give my old Wi-Fi card away to my girlfriend, and thereby score extra points;-)

Thank you in advance for any help.

Peter.

In addition to the info on te FAQ, please note neither the Novatel, nor the Option cards provides WiFi access. The dashboard has the capability to work with a WiFi card, if there is one in your system.

So don't give that card away yet!
