I noticed last week that my Vodafone Satnav on a few occasions said "traffic information downloaded" just after my maps had downloaded. The options for traffic notifications had a tick in the settings box. I assume VC was testing and called them. They said that it was not active, but that it would be rolling out in the future. Any body else aware of this or have any info?

maybe they'll just get reasonable bandwidth on the Vodacom BIS service. THAT'LL be a big surprise.

1.2mb isn't possible. BIS does not use hsdpa. Either you're getting charged for it or if you're measuring from the speedtest app divide your speed by 8 to get bytes (it's in bits)

Vodacom's big surprise was App World now available. Not really a surprise now, was that? :)
