Do MyADSL members believe I am badgering the forum?

Hi Guys.

I have recently received a complaint from another seller that my posts are unethical and enticing members to purchase from me.

I would like your valued opinions on the above, and will do as the MyADSL majority feels.

I personally believe, that I offer assistance where I can, sometimes with regards to assisting someone to purchase something, at other times with just advice. I at the same time, like to try be one step of the rest. Where others wait for a reactive sale, I like to attempt proactive sales and service. I also personally believed I did this in good faith, and as such I would like your opinion on the matter.

I do not want to get in the way and do not want to harm my relationship with MyADSL.

So guys, please let me know if I have been doing wrong and I will gladly stop.

You good man! Keep doing what you doing! Always helpfull and you got some great deals as well! Screw those who are complaining.
 
I know how to resolve this (lightbulb glows over my head)

Esquire and Digitaladdiction should start a price war! Whoever can offer the best bang for buck on their items will be considered as being "right" in this predicament :p

I could really do with some new RAM and a GPU, so you could start off by offering discounts in that department first lol

Well this has put me off using Esquire in the future.

But perhaps keep it on the lowdown for a while, as long as the mods aren't worried then neither should you be.

Lol, well we all know I'm not gonna beat esquires Ram pricing ... they actually tend to be a bit cheaper then some of my suppliers sometimes :rolleyes: ... But I can offer you Refurbed graphics cards with warranties :P ... however, the good ones have been sold :( ... have a 4850 1gb and a 4870, but the 4870 has no serial number therefore no warranty :(

And I believe what I wrote above is what might constitute the initial complaint, so there you have it ... an example ;)
 
The only time I needed something, you weighed in with your opinion.
I do recall calling you a useless salesman, as you weren't offering to better the deal, if that helps :p

No, please don't take this as a battle between the two of us ... they offer some great deals that I could never offer ... I just wanted the forums opinion if I should quiet down a bit (I'm a loud guy in real life too ;) )

F him BUD, It's business and that's all what counts!

Esquire is even worse, I get mails and they hammer the Forum even more, who cares, as I said its all business. Just hit us harder man, show us the deals, do not slow down.

Hell what am I saying, I am in this business too, part time!

Don't worry, I've had issues with Esquire in the past, its not all you ;)

Yeah ... I plan to make my first "imminent" newsletter memorable :P ... Been so busy with varsity and my other job, haven't had time for specials ... I'll try change that a bit for the festive season :)

If you are badgering the forums, then so is Esquire with all their ads.
Both of you are offering good pricing on products and you both have different approaches to business. This is not Esquire's forum or selling grounds, nor is it yours, but both are welcome to help us all out with products. I'm also a small time reseller who helps out where I can (usually even taking just travel costs as payment if the person is really after a product. Hardware isn't my main income), but I know how difficult it can be to offer good pricing on things so the use of any selling grounds is welcome.

Let's hear Esquire on this. Why do you think he is badgering this forum? Do you think that payment for placing ads here makes this domain yours alone?
 
Nope... no bother here! Keep on with what ya doing... I won't complain.

Hell, you stepped in when I needed some pricing... and then even knocked a whack of the quote. That OTHER place never even bothered to reply to my pm...

From what I have observed, you only step in when requested or when it is a relevant mention... so no bother noted yet.

Keep it up... keep on doing it... just watch... I am sure you will find the majority of posters supporting you in this regard. You got my vote!
 
If forum members feel that threads are being spammed by anyone, including dealers, they're requested to please draw the mods attention to the thread either by PM or by using the RBP button so we can have a look.

Hi All

I think that you all misunderstanding my issue regarding his post on every thread asking members to support him , as this is done on the main forum on not on the section where it suppose to be "Dealer Section"

It seems now that this is now going to be a mudslinging match , sometime I did not want , but I honestly believe that it is unfair of him to go through every thread and offer product to MyBB members.

As it is unfair to many other members that are also resellers on this forum , My gripe is not that he offers great prices and excellent service but it is that is taking an unfair advantage by actively posting on every thread

I honestly do not have an issue with Itai as I have met him on two or three occasions and also agree with members of this forum he is a great guy but just feel he should follow the rules by posting his specials on the Dealer section or PM those that request products and not do it actively on the forum. –This is my Humble opinion.

nothing against Itai/DD (I've previously got some great service from him) but I see Eaquire's point.

OMG, from this day onwards I will ignore esquire. I have never purchased anything from any of you but your post just turned me against you. Have yourself a good weekend ;)
