App World available in South Africa

Hi

Seems that App World is now available in SA. Only free app downloads at the moment. Hope they expand it.
 
the Apple store makes this look like a shelf in zimbabwe. (no offence)
 
its been downloading my "app" for about 10mins now.... ill check it out when done to see whats there.

my Vlingo has packed up, and im miffed cause i paid for it. seems it cannot connect to servers anymore regardless of the APN used. peachy.

My download took about a minute even though the signal was just EDGE quality.
 
yeah well. *mumble* the cellphone tower where i live is planning world domination instead of working. I can hardly take calls at home.... typical VC.

Anyway, it came down, i installed some apps and it appears to be quite good. I will admit, a step in the right direction. Just waiting for paid apps now...
 
Yeah, it would be awesome to buy and get charged on the cellphone bill or something. Please VC!!!
 
did the app world link appear on your device or did you manually download it?
 
Blackberry App World or Aplication Centre.

Got a new icon Application Center - only 4 apps.

The standard Blackberry App World free Apps is much more

I think my sig should go back to "epic failure"
