Hey guys thought I might get rid of some old parts and was wondering what you guys thought a fair price would be.

Gigabyte P35-DS3R Motherboard (Lan port is dead, dang eskom)
Intel E6600 CPU with Stock cooler
D-Link DGE 530T Gigabit network card

Parts are about two years old (NIC about 6 months) and the CPU has only ever been safely overclocked at stock voltages. They are still running fine and in fact i am using them right now. Never received a single BSOD relating to any of the components.

Doing a move to i7 and that's the only reason i am looking to get rid of the parts.

never really found it necessary to RMA the board to be perfectly honest, i bought the NIC urgently and since the incident never had a single hiccup so i kind of forgot it was faulty, lol... actually just remembered before i posted the thread.

Have just emailed the old man to see if he wants the parts as spares as we got identical setups, if not then i reckon i would be happy to let the lot go for 1k. I think that is fair for a dual core CPU, mobo and NIC... especially considering the RMA potential, lol.

How much do you want for the mobo alone?

Was kinda hoping to just sell the lot together to be honest... the mobo alone is worth about R500-600 i would say, but somehow doubt i would find a buyer for a lone CPU and NIC, thats why I was thinking a good deal for the lot would be about 1K.

I definately think all three components are worth a bit more than 1k though, but I really am not trying to make a bundle on the stuff, I just don't have a use for it and if the parts can cover the cost of some additional cooling in the new rig then i am all for it :)

Ok Ladies and Gents, old toppie is planning on an upgrade in the not too distant future too so he says he doesn't want/need the spares... so the first person to offer me 1k for all three components can take it... Delivery cost their own or collection if you in JHB area.
