Not sure if I should post this here or in the Neotel threads but anyhow gamers probably know the best.

Had my xbox connected just fine to Neoflex, but then Neotel went down as usual and I reset the router and now I can't get the Xbox to see the router - I fail the first network test on the xbox.

so what am I doing wrong - everything looks ok, cable is good, DHCP is ticked on, it picks up all the connected pcs and laptops but not seeing the xbox - on the xbox all the settings are set to auto

so what am I doing wrong?
Getting COD6 tomorrow and I have to get online, plllleeeeeeeeeez any advice

Oh yeh - I'm sure PC sees the xbox cause if I go to windows media player and check in library - it shows that the xbox is there, so why oh why cant it see the router?

nobody knows?

that sucks

no point in calling neotel, i doubt they can help:mad:

Are you using the Ethernet conenction? Why i ask is i am using the wireless adaptor on the XBOX to connect to the router, and i have not yet had any problems with the unit. I also use my home pc to stream video/picture/mp3's to my xbox through the neoflex router...

yeh, looks like Ethernet got fried on the xbox, so got the wireless adapter

sigh, should have just got a PS3

Most likelly a lightning spike, had the same happen to mine, but seriously, the wireless is so much better.
