what a good game best fps i played in a long time

Yip, played it late last year. Quite a good game. Have you played Knights of the Old Republic 2?
 
If you like Star Wars and RPG's then you will love the game. It's the only game I played through 3 times in a row and it takes about 40 hours to finish the game :D
 
killa - you talking about the latest demo of CoR ?
Saw that PC Format has the demo on the cover CD. Didn't buy it, just gonna download it.
Or r u talking about earlier versions ?
 
about the full warez release I suppose, very good game.

level design is decent.
AI is terrible, HL2 has much better AI
flow of the levels isn't too great
but it is an amazingly fun game anyway

KoToR2 is amazingly fun, except for the ending which was cut due to time considerations. So after you finish the main planets it falls badly. You also need to play KoToR1 first, which is much better than 2

Really fun SW game is republic commando. Good multiplayer, single player is very good, if a bit short and leaves you waiting for republic commando 2
 
the ai isnt good at all but the ai in half life isnt that great either AI will neva be good or no one would finish the game

Huh, what crap talk you? HL1 AI was revolutionary for it's time. HL2 while not the best, is good. Yes, AI can't be too believable or it would be too hard or boring, but still Rid****s AI is just thick. If it was the early 90's then this would be acceptable, but nowdays this is not acceptable AI.
Four cases in point
1) they can see through doors (not walls thought, just closed doors)
2) Flanking is an unknown concept to them (HL1 marines had flanking, Halo's grunts had flanking, UT2k4's bots have flanking, FarCry's soldiers had flanking, etc...)
3) (this is the best) they stand next to explosive barrels, and shoot through them to get you, which causes them to...well become wallpaper.
4) You are hanging on a wall, they can not aim up and shoot you. They just stand there and yell at you. When you drop, then suddenly they can shoot you.
 
dude i was talking about half life 2 i just figured you would pick up it was half life 2 and 1 but i guess not :)

right, ok. got that from your earlier post, no hl1. only hl2. got it, moving forward now. not repeating things just to provie a point.
