hi,

Few weeks ago my phone just went dead. Sony Ericsson P800. Gave the phone in and a week later it was repaired.

Great!... or maybe not
The phone freezes up the while time. I also found that my screen was rather damaged and this was NOT the way i gave it to then. Also the buttons that i uses for quick access to my camera and so on, was also now damaged. The were still nice and had no silver coming off. But i think i got some elses buttons because they really look bad.

Im really pissed off at the crap service ( vodashop or who ever handles repairs ) If it's not enough that my phone dies, they $%^& it up some other way.

I tried to get then to give me a loan phone, but a loan phone which is capable of GPRS and so on, because i use it everyday in this heactic IT support industry.

So the answers was NO! So now im stuck and really ticked off.

Something else again. My girlfriend took out a new contract. She was told that it would be activated in 48hours.... 48hours turned into 2 weeks and it NOT activated yet. So she gave then back the phone and asked for her contract to be scraped. Then they said that it would be actived tomorrow ( Sunday 15/05/2005 ) She then left the phone there and if it's not activated then she does not want the contract back.

Now that is %^&*(% service Vodacom!

Imm unsure if i want to stay Voda if they dot get their things right.

I dont know where your girl friend took up the new contract. If she went to a Vodashop her contract will be activated a few hours after approval.Vodashops do everything online. The Chain can delay you because most of them dont use this system.Vodashop can get an answer on your contract within 15min.You must dial 0821944(FREE FROM ANY VODACOM PHONE) to complain about any problems you have about VODACARE.If Vodacare swops your P800 they will give you a P900

thx for your reply.

After my girlfriend got rather upset with them they activated the phon within an hour and we picked it up this morning. So now i'll take in my p800 and give them a speech about my problem with them.

Thx,

Oh and it was with vodashop, the same shop where i got my P800 from. I went and emailed Vodashop in canal walk a while ago so i will be talking so them, because the vodashop where i got my phone takes forever to get something done if they get something done.
