so i'm stuck with choosing either of these 2 models of lcd's... Not sure which one to go for.. When i think of getting the sinotec, my inner self tells me u could have had a BRAVIA!!! When i lean towards getting the bravia, that same inner self tells me u could have had 47 inches!!! Help plz...

What you going to be using it for? Sinotec is great for gaming and DVDs etc. Bravia will win when it comes to TV.

I would recommend the Sinotec then. And their 5yr warranty is great.

Seems only specific models have a 3 year warranty.
I'd still get a Sinotec if the purpose is gaming/PC/console. The quality will be the same as the Bravia/Samsung from what I've read (some people even claim Sinotec is better), and there will be more screen size for your buck with the Sinotec, which is most important.

Go into the store and hook the Sony and Sinotec up to the same source (perhaps you have a laptop that can display at full HD). Otherwise there should be a console in store that you can use to test.

Sony have a no dead pixels policy. If the panel has just one dead pixel, it constitutes a warranty claim. The Samsungs are four dead pixels and not sure about the Sinotec. Warranty is good, but determine what constitutes a warranty claim?

bravia see them next to each other on a 1080p game on the PS3... the sinotech will burn your eye's.
connect them as a Pc monitor.. sinotech will make you want to not see again in comparison

A bit off topic here, but if I'm going to be using it as a PC monitor at 1920 x 1080... would I need a decent graphics card (any recommendations?)
Please note I wont be gaming on the PC at all, just using it for designing in Corel Draw and Photoshop, Internet Browsing, and viewing the occasional downloaded video...
