FIFA player of the year 2009

If he gets it, it's fully deserved, though it'd be nice if Xavi got some recognition as well.

I doubt he will take it next year. I don't see Argentina winning the World Cup and that will play a big role in whoever wins it next year.
Probably someone from the World Cup winning team will take it albeit his club must do well...so maybe the inesta's , ***a's , xavi's from the spain and brazil might be up considering that spain and brazil will either win the world cup
 
Was there ever a doubt though?

***a cannot be player of the year, he is the most over rated player i have seen in my life. Considering his price i think he is pretty poor. Watch out for ronaldo again. He is loving life in spain and doing really well.

Pity that Russia never made the world cup because arshvin might put his hat in their as well.

Xavi has been nominated for everything:D but I can't remember when last he actually got an award:confused:
