I need some quick contract advice as Vodacom totally and utterly seems to incapable of dealing with their Contract Setups.

[I'm also posting it here in public, since i've spoken to a few forumites which also wanted to migrate to the 3g 500 -contract-, so this also just shows what most probably will happen if you do ]

Just quick history:

1. I signed up on a Weekender Voice contract. Got a 3G card with that.
2. I added 3G 250MB bundles as Value Added Services to the contract for 2 months.
3. I decided i wish to move up to the 3G 500MB bundle as VAS on my contract but was told it was not possible to load it as a VAS, i would need to 'migrate' my contract from Weekender -> 3G 500 [Vodacom got the logs of themselves actually stating that, so can't be denied]. I said great, DO IT, as it's cheaper in terms of total costs. So it was done.

4. The next month, i'm on the 3G 500 contract, but there were a few billing errors and i asked them to correct it. Right at the same time i received notice that my 'migration' is being reversed back to the Weekender.

So here i am now, going WTF. Phoning the helpdesk, the person that helped me eventually found someone that told her "it's a business rule that one can not move from a voice contract to a data contract" . (which is a BS excuse if you ask me)

And well, now i'm basically extremely pissed off at this sort of incompetent behaviour and with my various disscussions with helpdesk people it's clear they are completely baffled as to what's going on.

Last report states i'll be back on weekender next month, and MAYBE will have a bundle loaded with it.

Anyone know of any good alternatives? I'm considering downgrading to the messenger contract and paying in some cash for the datacard , but i was hoping there's another way.

I feel like i'm banging my head against a wall.

diabolus, looks like a comedy of errors.

Firstly, you can add any bundle to any voice contract, so moving from a 250 to a 500 (the next month) is perfectly fine.

Please PM me your contact details, I've spoken to someone who'll sort you out.
