Best Xbox Elite Deal

Hi guys,

I am going to buy the xbox elite today. Where do you guys suggest I buy it from? I have done a quick look around and the best deal I can find is the Bundle deal at Dion Wired; which is R2999 for the elite + two games (Pure and some Lego game).

Is there any other store I should pop into? I would like a bundle with games I would like to play - Fifa, Call of Duty, Batman, Tiger Woods etc etc etc.

It does not necessarily have to come with a game. If there is a good deal on the standard elite that is great too.

Any suggestions?
 
Hey Dude.What you really need to focus is purchasing the correct Elite console.The new Jaspers are the ones to get with less heat,better performance and runs much quiter than previous models.I think that all Elites today are Jaspers.

I purchased mine from Incredible connection.Before purchasing yours,you must ask the salesman to open the box.You must confirm that it is running 2.1A which can be seen at the rear of the box in the power plug area.If its not 2.1A...Dont BUY IT!!.

I first went to Dion and they did not have the Jasper.They were selling old models.Lucky for me,i did my homework .

The Pure/Batman Lego bundle is the 'entry level' bundle at the moment. There is a Forza 3 elite bundle. There MIGHT be a COD one but no certain. I bought the Halo bundle 2 months back -came with Halo 3 and Halo ODST. But these are more expensive and can range from R3200 to R3700 depending on the store. I have seen the Elite on its own for under R3000 at some places
 
i bought mine for R3000, with lego and pure, no voucher at ic, they sell elite for 2800 with 2 100 vouchers, was a few weeks back so dont know if its still running. also made oke open up to check for jasper.
 
look and listen menlyn had like 11 of these R2999 bundles - i bought one there on sunday, and they are Jaspers with a manufacture date of around oct 2009. buy with a discovery credit card and you get at least 10% back, ie. pay R2699 in the end.
 
Hey guys,

I got the Lego + Pure bundle for R2999 from Look & Listen. So far so good. One thing that is quite perplexing is the lack of a HDMI cable in the package. :confused:

Is a Jasper (12.1A).

That's how the elites come now. MS is trying to save money, so they took the cable out of the package.:whistle:
 
don't bother buying the official hdmi cable, waste of money. any hdmi cable will work. if your tight for money some are like R80.
