Nexus One on vodacom GSM?

Here is the spec sheet for the Nexus One:

Does anyone know how well this would run on Vodacom's GSM bands? Would we only be on Edge or would 3G/HSDPA work fine? I don't know anything about how GSM works, but it seems that in the US it would work on T-Mobile, but AT&T would be only Edge because of the bands the phone supports...

Looking @ the frequencies on gsmarena it should work 100% on both GSM/GPRS and 3G HSDPA.

The Nexus One supports 900/1700/2100
Here you can see the frequencies in South Africa. So it should work on MTN and Vodacom.

thats still reasonable imo compared to the iphone and hero
