PRETORIA. As evidence mounts that that President Jacob Zuma is planning to pardon Eugene "Prime Evil" De Kok as part of a tit-for-tat deal to pardon Schabir Shaik, white South Africans have reassured Mr Zuma that they don't need a mass-murdering psychopath returned to them in exchange for the freedom of a small-time fraud.

Mr Zuma's office has repeatedly denied rumours that he is getting ready to pardon Shaik, suggesting that he is getting ready to pardon Shaik.

The former financial advisor was released from prison on medical parole after reportedly becoming terminally ill. However, subsequent investigations found that the only things terminally ill were Mr Zuma's personal finances and his understanding of the rule of law.

This morning a delegation of concerned white South Africans explained to the Presidency that nobody – least of all whites – wanted De Kok freed.

"President Zuma might live in a fantasy country locked in some kind of racial cold war, where you need to free one mass-murdering white psychopath for every small-time ANC conman you release, but the rest of us don't live in that country," said delegation leader Joe Taxpayer.

"If he's going to give hardworking and law-abiding South Africans the finger and pardon Shaik, fine, just get on with it, but for God's sake leave De Kok in prison where he belongs."

Political analyst Bismarck Breakfast Ndlovu echoed their sentiments.

"If President Zuma wants to demonstrate that South Africa is a banana republic he should free Schabir Shaik.

"If he wants to demonstrate that it is a banana republic en route to becoming a failed state where political and judicial decision are made by taking large doses of tik, he should release Eugene de Kok too."

Mr Zuma was not available for comment as he is currently on honeymoon after marrying his third wife. A spokesman said that the honeymoon period would last as long as Mr Zuma wanted it to, which could be "indefinite".

"The ANC has proved that we can stretch out the honeymoon period to well over a decade before the masses start demanding that we get down to work," said the spokesman.

My sentiments exactly! :D

Phew, you're really picking on Zuma lately aren't you.

Yea, we really should not be picking on the person that is supposed to lead this country.

God forbid we put him under the microscope and hold him accountable for his every decision.

I really wish people would stop posting stupid hayibo rubbish in the current affairs section and stop wasting time. Regardless of how hit-the-nail-on-the-head they may be.

In a satirical way they are relevant to current news items and pass social commentary on the news. For that reason they do fall under current affairs.
