Where to get phone unlocked? Sony Ericsson P990i

My mom gave me her old Sony Ericsson P990i which I intend to use for 3G internet on my laptop.

Where can I get the phone unlocked in cape town? (the cheaper the better :))
 
If the phone was bought from Vodacom then the phone is not locked.
If the phone was bought from a overseas network, then they normally supply a unlock code on request.
 
It turns out the phone was not locked :) I thought it was vodafone UK locked. But it just had a 'phone lock pin' on it. luckily I got it sorted. (asked my mom what it might be, lol)
But if anyone needs to know theres a cheap place on cnr long street and strand. also a place in adderly street, bit more. then theres a expensive place in sea point., and a place in montague gardens that charges R200-300 but send it away for 4 days.
