Please will you do your thing and all write LETTERS into these papers complaining about various telecomms issues that are LOCALISED and affecting YOUR community? More voice, more attention, more debate, more action, more results.

How incredibly unintelligent - Telkom affects us all, they have lines into our homes - how can the story not be run?

They can get stitched, rather use other publications who aren't afraid of losing their telkom advertising.

thats the spirit.
make each story your personal endevours. Eventually those papers will run something editorially to protect their readers/inform their readers or challenge the situation or else end up with egg all over their faces.

Anybody know anybody who lives in Alex and is willing to stand up and be a voice for the community?
 
Like ive said before, many publications, particularly small effects such as those above are scared of running anything anti-telkom as they are afraid of losing their telkom advertising.

Other reason being they want a chance to win the'Telkom Journalist of the Year Award'.. but that's for n00bs and most likely an incentive to keep people from printing any bad telkom articles.

I cant underdstand Ellen's position. She phoned me and was very direct about this being a national issue.
I think the idea is to write a letter to the editor for the letters section. she cannot ignore ALL of them for heavens sake!
