Home Theatre with HDMI in???

Hi everyone,

Whats the best Home Theatre system to get, but it must have the following:
-4 Tall Boy speakers
-HDMI in and out
-Optical in and out

I am renting at the moment, so I would prefer tall boys's.

I have :
-PS3
-Sony Bravia 32"

I bought this a few months ago...
SONY DAV-DZ777 HOME THEATRE SYSTEM.

It has HDMI In. Its done a great job with the upscaling aswell.

If you have dough to spend, check the STR-ES2400, HD A/V receiver to add more Grrr to you HT system;)

I bought the LG HB954TB, it is an absolutely stunning system. Tuned by Mark Levinson, it is tallboy, has dual hdmi in, coax and optical in, as well as ipod dock.

Blu ray player as well, even though you got a PS3.
 
@ Soldierboi: Shweet, R3699 is a great price. I'll check this weekend, hopefully they still have it.
@PoiZoNouZ: Abit out of my price range. I was going to buy the HT964TZ, but it had no HDMI in.
 
Yamaha have some nice amps as well, but they might end up being out of your price range. +- R5000 for just amp

It definitely does have HDMI:) Check under the amplifier specs on the Sony site.



Good price though, seems is a discontinued product so the trying to get rid of it.

Not sure about the availability @Dion tho, but I think there is an upgrade to my current HT system - DAV DZ790K.

If you had an HD AV receiver especially the (STR DA2400ES), then you will definitely be sorted and spoilt for choice:)
