Selling phones on mxit mxchange?

I have a few phones to sell and I've listed them on BidorBuy.co.za as well as mxit mxchange. I've not recieved a single response on bidorbuy but I've received dozens on MXIT.

The problem I am having is trust. Is there a means I can guarantee that when someone deposits money into my account, I will deliver the phone? I live in Newcastle, kzn and most of the potential buyers are from Durban and Cape Town. Understandably, they're hesitant to send money to a stranger.

Bidorbuy is nice cause it acts as a middle man (I think) as payments go via them. What can I do on the mxit front to instill trust in the transaction?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

join their forum and ask questions cause they will help you. do not also ship anything without seeing your money first.
 
Bidorbuy does f'all. All they can do is ban someone from their site. Payments are direct.

No there isn't any really good way to do it. Remember to phone your bank and ask them if the money is cleared and can't be reversed etc before you send anything.
 
Thanks rorz0r and wayne , I'll definietly check with the bank.

I'm looking into becoming a verified seller on BoB, though I've only got these three phones to sell. I doubt I'll be selling again for a while, other than the odd bit of tech (have some old gfx cards etc).
 
Nokia N95 8GB (R2800),
Nokia 5800 (R2500)
and Nokia N96 (R4500)

- all in excellent condition with boxes and all accessories/cables/8 gig memory card on the 5800 etc. They're symbian, and are all formated to factory state and are as good as new. The 5800 is like 5 months old and hardly used. I've researched what they cost second hand on jump and pricecheck as well as BoB and set prices a lil lower than the average from them.
 
Also another question, the N96 and the 5800 were contract upgrades and are still well within the warranty. (24 months?). So there's like 19 months left on the 5800 and a bit over a year I think on the N96. The contracts are through Vodacom and MTNSP. When I sell these phones, is the warrenty still valid to the buyer? Or is it tied to the contract?
