MyGaming: Gran Turismo 5 delayed

I asked my local gaming retail outlet when Starcraft 2 is likely to be released. He said, "Right after Gran Turismo 5 is released!" :D

2010? Oh wait it's been delayed to 2011..... oh, wait, it's just been delayed again to 2012.......... etc, etc, etc.

Personally I think they saw Forza3.... crapped themselves....... and decided they needed to work on GT5 more. God forbid if GT5 turns out to be not as good as Forza3. :rolleyes:

That actually makes sense and Im sure there might be some truth in that! :p Coming from a PS3 fan boi too.... :whistle:
 
I'm not even going to act suprised. This game will have to be the best game ever seeing that started out in 2006.

I must agree with Toxin about the Forza3 theory, they will really have to bring out a top notch game if it's going to want to draw people to the PS away from the xbox.

...maybe GT5 is actually a PS4 release :S
 
Well if they delay it to make it better i don't see the problem, just the wait that is killing me.
 
Me: Xbox fanboy.

My opinion: GT5 is going to make me buy a PS3.

My observation: Luckily this will happen early 2021.

My conclusion: I will rather buy Forza 9 by then and not buy a PS3.
 
right now forza 3 is it, what can gt5 do to make a car game any better, maybe faster loading, more cars thats about it. Graphically you cant make a car look any better than a car really looks. The one thing though they can better, is more cars on track.

Agreed, more than 8 would be nifty... or, give me seven super M. Rossi clones to race against - 8 cars are actually sufficient for a nice 'pack' to race in, but not if you leave 5 of your 7 competitors for dead straight out the gates.

That being said, I think hotlapping will be where I get my entertainment in the near future. It's damn addictive to try to beat your own best times with a slightly tweaked tune, or a different car altogether.

Well its been years and they're still trying to make it better, must have been really ****e when they first started :eek:

Your theory might have some merit, but considering how long we waited for GT4, and with all the delays in GT4, this theory loses some ground.


People, we will play GT5 the day they release it, when that is ....... well, we can only hope for the best

Lets hope not, as then we may never get it.... as long aas it gets released before December 2012....:D
