If that were the case many legends wouldn't still be legends. Maradona, Percy, Joost etc wouldn't still be mentioned. Tiger is, and always will be, considered one of the greatest, if not the greatest, golfers ever.
When people say "was' I wonder if they even know what they saying / talking about. Only golfers & people who support the sport know how much that brilliant sportsman has done for the sport & he will continue to do so.
Yes, he is human & he made a mistake but what does that have to do with what he has achieved?
my point is that he WAS a legend, as a man and a sportsman. as things stand now, he may be a legendary sportsman (and no one can take that away) but he's not an all-round legend. legends don't cheat on their wives 14 times and still continue seeing some of the mistresses even after being caught. legends live the same championship values in and out of the public eye.
