gaah, i had a look at a demo Star once, almost puked! Bought a 5800 for the girlfriend and was very happy with the choice

5800 hands down...well I might be biased since I got one and its awesome.

5800 is MUCH better than Star. Don't even think about it.

The Star is an entry-level touchscreen phone, the 5800 is aimed a little above that.

Star is completely pointless. It's for the kids who want to imagine they have an iPhone. 5800 at least makes proper use of the touchscreen and doesn't creak at the hinges. Star has the Touchwiz OS - it's like fake Symbian. Total poop.
