Israel has opened the floodgates of one of its dams in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip, flooding Palestinian houses and causing severe damage.

This ****ing piece of crap of a state of israel should be wiped off the face of the earth.

First they complain that the dams are closed, then they complain that the dams are open! :wtf:

There has been heavy rain in the region over the past 24 hours. It seems the Israeli authorities could not handle the huge amount of rainwater and decided to open the floodgates without prior warning.

Ignoring for now the accusations that it was done on purpose as an act of aggression, would there not have been possible greater flooding if they had kept the dam closed and prayed that nothing would go wrong in the heavy rainfall?

A warning would have been nice.

Water will dry up eventually, but this story worries me a lot more -

Combat rifle sights used by US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan carry references to Bible verses, stoking concerns about whether the inscriptions break a government rule that bars proselytizing by American troops.

Military officials said the citations don't violate the ban and they won't stop using the telescoping sights, which allow troops to pinpoint the enemy day or night.

Markings on the Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight, which is standard issue to US special operations forces, include "JN8:12," a reference to John 8:12: "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, 'I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life,'" according to the King James version of the Bible.

The Trijicon Reflex sight is stamped with 2COR4:6, a reference to part of the second letter of Paul to the Corinthians: "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ," the King James version reads.

Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, says the biblically inscribed sights could give the Taliban and other enemy forces a propaganda tool: that American troops are Christian crusaders invading Muslim countries.

"I don't have to wonder for a nanosecond how the American public would react if citations from the Koran were being inscribed onto these US armed forces gun sights instead of New Testament citations," Weinstein said

a warning for the rockets would also be nice

So you agree with this?

Just flooding people without warning and the rockets generally come from hezbollah

Ya i agree with Iran's president and i hope he does actually wipe them off the map soon.

Destroy Israel!!!!!!!!!!!!! could not agree more. This is just terrible.

why the hell do they build their houses below damm walls? its the palastine's problem, if the damm overflows then the walls might actually break causing the entire place to flood...

Thats gotta be the dumbest comment ever. So this is Israels retaliation for the rockets (oh wait that was the cast lead massacre).

They restrict water then they flood the okes.

Blatant act of agression (wonder how they'll spin this one).
As usual the zionist creepers go back to the rockets, when was the last one again ???

They are going nowhere so you and monkey boy from Iran can keep living in the delusional world that you live in. Killa, I know where you may get a Nazi flag cheap, comes with a free bomb

:erm: Where did I say it was retaliation?
And yes I am a proud Zionist. With Jew hater like some of you here, I am proud and happy to support the state of Israel.
Hmm lets see if I has the choice to support her or the like of Hamas?? What a joke.
I dont support her flooding the area but I would like to see what the true story is.

How can i get an israeli flag? because sadly hitler and israel are not so different are they? Just because i would love to see them wiped off the face of the earth does not mean i hate jews. If iran nuked them i would not shed a tear.

Drop the bomb Iran the time has come. Pity they do not have one yet :(.

Wow sorry marine1 the above is the dumbest comment. Really dude you make no sense.

Marine1 your comment about there being no warning for rockets attacks. Clearly you linked the two i.e. so if the rockets were a sign of agression and so was this.
Your comment staterd this don't try to back away now.

Now you sound like those crazy-nuke-loving-women-stoning-hand-chopping fanatics in Iran.

If there are more people like you in Palestine I guess I can't blame Israel for doing what they do.

This is almost as bad as sneaking into an Olympic village at night and assassinating unarmed athletes. Not quite as bad, but almost.

Of course its because the damn was opened to prevent the wall collapsing. Which would've been worse, don't you agree?

What do you think the true story is? Also, why do supporters of Israel always personify the country?

Or as bad as a few Jews dressing up as Arabs and then blowing up the King David hotel Killing and injuring hundreds then still celebrating the act 60 years later.

Almost as bad as those Martians that had John F. Kennedy assassinated! Almost.

They could drop one on you in SA... I would not shed a tear either

Neither would i dude. In fact i think a few countries need to be cleansed and we are right up there as if much of Africa so bring it :D but only after Israel/middle east.
