Its superfast 'infinity' broadband will offer download speeds of up to 40 megabits per second (Mb/s) - some five times faster than the current standard speed of up to 8Mb/s.

The download speed is the rate at which home computer users can download music, video and images from the internet.

Separately, the system has an upstream speed - the rate at which users can upload material to the internet - of 10Mb/s. BT claims this is six times faster than its main rival, Virgin Media.

I call BS.
I have a BT line and the max speed I can get is 8mbit.
Took them 2 years to upgrade the DSLAM from 2mbit, plus 3km from me is the exchange.
Seriously!

Eh, it's crap compared to teh Services in Sweden/Finland/Netherlands.
We are probably the slowest in Europe.

Ofc, I'd take my 8mbit line at home compared to my current 384kbit telkom line I'm living on now! :D
 
R400 ZAR for 40mb line with 10mb upload speed and uncapped. I see it in SA in about 10 years minimum LOL
