How long does Pre-Paid Airtime stay valid if not used ?

I am with Virgin atm but you loose your airtime if you don't use it.

Want to change to another SP if my un-used airtime does not dis-appear.

with cell C I think the airtime window is 6 months. not sure about the others

Same with Virgin Mobile and Vodacom, not sure about MTN

Virgin said once that if you send a paid SMS every month you won't lose the account. Can anyone confirm?

yes thats what they told me too.

Seems MTN is call / SMS every 90 days to keep your number BUT they dont say anything about how long un-used Air Time lasts....

Yes that is true, just make sure to ask them to extend your airtime window if it is close to expiration.
