This is has been great so far! I've played each race a couple times, even if only on the one map. Im a major avp1 and 2 fan and I will admit I was bleak when I first started to play but now Im quite used to it and I think its awesome Predator is definately the most difficult to get used to but once you get the hang of it hes quite easy to use... I quite like the jumping mechanism that he gets, even if a little "console style".
Aliens wall walking takes a while to get used to aswell but eventually you can easily escape from a situation or attack from somewhere unexpected.. I use the "detach" (mouse 3) quite a lot aswell... but eventually you can be cruising the map quite quickly..
The only problem I have is with Marines... It feels like they are carrying a ton of weight around.. The movement speed is just too slow, even in sprint.
Im definately gonna be getting this game, the melee combat is quite cool and the grab ("E") insta-kill button is actually a lot less useful than people have been making it out to be... Its not like you just run into a fight and push e and win.
