Article: Durban and Johannesburg road degradation at 'tipping point'

One of the roads I use in Pretoria, have been in a sorry state for ages. It looks like a quilt already, but they (council) are waiting for a property developer to upgrade the road as part of his development. Not holding my breath the the road will be improved soon. It is becoming a bit of an safety issue though, as with rain the narrow road is flooded, causing cars to swerve in front of each other in order to miss potholes and rivers of water on the sides.
